FARANGS
We want everyone to be able to use farangs.org, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, captions or screen magnification.
What we aim for
We work toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, level AA. The site is built on Wix, which provides keyboard navigation, screen-reader labels and visible focus on its standard parts.
What we do
Pages use headings in order, so screen readers can jump between sections. Images that carry meaning have text descriptions. Text is set in sizes and colors chosen to be readable on the dark background. Menus, buttons and forms can be used with a keyboard.
Where we fall short
Headlines and videos come from other publishers and YouTube, and we don’t control how accessible their pages are. Video thumbnails link out to YouTube, where captions depend on the channel. We fix problems on our own pages as we find them.
